Hey, is your tablet with or without a screen?
I've been trying to use, after hours, a school bamboo to demonstrate an idea I had for Vince's ear and bandanna physics... but it's a pain in the ass because you can't see the fucking screen below your pen, so registration is damn near impossible.
Its without, i've got the small intuos 4 tablet right now.
Haha that DOES sound problematic. I definitely prefer it this way, or on a proper cintiq maybe, but I've never reeeally given one a go.
I would kill to be able to see what I'm working on.
What I'm excited for is that new technology they're developing, that simulates texture with screen vibration...soon we could end up with a tablet that'll feel like actual paper beneath your pen. 0w0
I've been doing these recent ones in photoshop, which has been loads of fun since I can slap pretty shading and effects on so much faster than Flash. Although its certainly not the same as far as animation friendly goes.
After effects is pretty cool and easy to get the hang of though, and yeah, SO much is done with that program its crazy.
Oh my gosh. YES. autosave should have been a feature forever ago! So handy!
